As many monsters know, Lady GaGa loves The Beatles and especially John Lennon, as why she has her peace sign tattoo. Also, I hope many of you die hard monsters know your GaGa info because as you all should know her birthday is coming up March 28th 2010. She will be 24 and in order to show her how much her monsters love her, we have come up with an extrodinary project. Lady GaGa strongly believes in peace, love, art and each other and that is what we shall show her by having each monster record themselves on video singing John Lennon's “Imagine” song. (IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO JOHN LENNON WAS THEN SHAME ON YOU! But here is a link to learn about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon )
We have the instrumental version of “Imagine” available for download (http://www.sendspace.com/file/tie1m1). You MUST sing to the version we have for download because it will ensure that the song will flow correctly in the video. Once we recieve all the videos of Monsters singing the song, we will clip a part of the song from each entry. Then put the clips together in order of the song, so that at every couple seconds a different monster is singing a part of the song, but the song will flow correctly.
We are also adding a final extra lyric to show our love, as you can see the lyrics posted on here, at the very end you can see we have added the lyric “We Love You and This Is The Fame”. To show you how the ending lyric will sound like, I have recorded myself singing the song and therefore you can see how the ending lyric will sound (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN1IPt_Sa2E). This adds to the benefit of making the ending lyric in unison with all the monsters. A section of the song will be in unison with all the monsters. This is for the fun and enjoyment of Lady GaGa, NOT a singing competition, therefore you do not need to worry about anyone judging your voice. Please put a lot of effort and love into this as this is a GIFT for Lady GaGa.
The following is unacceptable: DO NOT advertise yourself ex: adding your twitter, facebook, myspace or any social network, remember this is NOT your chance to have GaGa add you to anything, this is for her birthday so please be considerate. If you add your social network I will either cut it out of the video or complelety remove the video from the project. You may not say anything else except sing the song according to the LYRICS POSTED, as if you do it will be cut or the video will be removed from the project.
Have fun with this project and please tell your friends about it, the more monsters, the merrier. Send the video in .wmv format, if you cannot then please convert it at a website such as online.movavi.com or mediaconverter.org. Send it ONLY to jlazo198@maine207west.org In the subject please put your First name. I will not accept or check any other websites or e-mails for your submission. DEADLINE is MARCH 18 2010. I will NOT accept anymore videos after 6pm central time in USA. The sooner you send it, the more guarentee of a spot in the video you will get because many monsters will be involved.
